I am 23 years old, female. My boyfriend and I had physical contact a couple of months ago, we had ourselves checked after and was prescribed two high dose antibiotics. I have also been taking the medication bust stopped after the duration of the prescription. I do not have any issues right now, but I would like to ask if it is safe to take doxycycline again just to be sure it will not come back?

Hi lysexy , unnecessarily doxycycline usage is not recommended as these only can produce more antibiotic resistance . Trust your doctor if he/she sees indication then they will provide the antibiotics . However self medication more often than not produces harm . For more details do consult me online .
