Hi, I am 21 year old now. I used to have 10-14 days bleeding during menstrual cycle when I was 19. Doctor prescribed me duoluton-l.i had it for 6 months. My periods were normal. Then again I stopped it and again it become a bit irregular like for 10 days .again I am having the prescribed medicine continuously for 1 year and my periods are going well. My height is 5 feet 9. And weight is 54 kg. I am thin since childhood. Should I discontinue the medicine now or I need to continue having it to maintain the regularity of my periods?

You can discontinue it and check whether your periods are regular or not. But do not stop medicine suddenly. Complete the course and do not start the course for next month. If bleeding is heavy you can take texid for 2-3 days. And if it still lasts longer then consult your gynecologist. Please do not restart duoloton-l on your own.
