So, I was playing football and I got hit on the knee. My knee went a little back than usual (hypertension) and I heard a pop. There is no swelling I can walk freely but whenever I try to straighten my knee and take a little beyond something hurts inside my knee. While sleeping if I take my leg up and then bend (one on the bed and other making 90)and then bend the affected leg I feel uneasy on the knee. I went to an orthopaedic and he just gave me painkillers. Should I consult a specialist? Note:- I previously had patellar tendonitis on that knee. Thank you.
