Tooth abscess is formed due to half treated or untreated root canal. Now, doctor did the abscess incision and drainage yesterday but I can feel bubble is still there after drainage. Looks like it is formed again after drainage. please advice what has to be done for this. Doctor have identified two tooth are affected and root canal need to be done so he first drained the abscess and gave me antibiotics but still gum bubble is there after drainage.

If the tooth is untreated or half treated root canal and there is an abscess, you should compulsorily repeat the root canal.

Without re root canal, pus will not go. Re root canal accompanied with incision and drainage will resolve the issue. Consult some endodontist for the same.
