My sugar levels are ranging from 100-120 in fasting and post lunch it ranges from 130-170. My doctor advice me to use novomix insulin 20 units 2 times but as my sugar levels which is think is in control I am taking 10 units 2 times. Is it ok? I would like to know should I continue using insulin or can I go for tablet. I have creatinine which is 2.5.so please suggest me either insulin or tablet which will be good for me?

With a creatinine of 2.5 insulin is the best choice. But if your sugar levels are under control with small dose of insulin some safe oral drugs might be tried if you r not willing to continue insulin.
