Hello, I am 38 years old female. My periods are always regular. I took 2 emergency contraceptive pill in january 1st week. And since then the period cycle has been irregular. January it started 12 days before due date. February it started on time but the bleeding has been going on for 8 days now. Its not heavy but its been on for 7-7 days. Usually I have only 4-5 days bleeding. Is this a cause of concern or it could be just side effect of the emergency pills. How many days should I wait for the bleeding to stop before consulting a doctor for any test for underlying issues. Thanks archie.
