Tell me about the available treatment for retinitis pigmentosa, Is there any hope for future? Is it hereditary? What is the percentage of its transmission to consecutive generation?

As of now there is no treatment known to benefit those with RP. Extensive research is ongoing in many centres for stem cell therapy it artificial retina. No headway yet! However if there is an associated disease they can be corrected.
