My friend done intercourse and took i-pill on 18 dec and she got period on 24 and last cycle period gap was 15 days. And after she again done intercourse without any precaution and got stomach pain and back pain. She is unmarried. Is there any chance of sperm going inside .what she do to confirm test and how to avoid it. please reply asap thank.

Hi lybrate-user / Rimpi I-pill is an 'emergency contraception pill':you need to understand this fact. Everytime you are involved in sexual activity, everytime you are supposed to use it. Physically, sperms going inside the vagina, for this, you are the best judge. No one else can tell about this with confirmation. I-pill has few side effects, most commonly it may prolong your period. The period in which you have consumed it. It might cause some stomach upset and backache. But you need to keep these facts in mind while using i-pill. Only way to be on safer side is. Go for urinary pregnancy test (preganews or whatever) once you are overdue for your periods at least for 7-10 days. Hope this info helps you in best of your ways. Take care.
