My chest (or my trachea, I don't know for sure) hurt when I breathed in deeply. But then I massage my sternum and the pain went away. There was no impact on my chest and the pain appeared out of nowhere. It's gone now but should I be worrying?

No worries if you don't have any other symptoms. If pain consists or increase than consult a physician.
