Dear sir/ madam, I was topper in our class till 8th standard that time I had high thinking power, memory power and understanding power. But after 9th standard suddenly I lost all these powers day by day. Now I am unable to think, understand and remember suddenly. I do not know what to tell suddenly it takes more time to get that words. What is the treatment for this? how to gain all these powers again back normally as previous?

To improve memory, it's important to destress often by way of exercising, relaxing, meditation, holidays, playing sports, dancing, playing music etc. Whatever suits you and relaxes you. Also eating brain healthy foods to help the brain think clearly, remember and reproduce at the right time. For this you will need to stop junk foods like maida, high sugar and fatty foods, processed foods, cold drinks. Brain healthy foods are good quality proteins, omega 3 fatty acids in fish, poultry, eggs, vegetables and fruits. Nuts and oilseeds are a rich source of this. Your brain also needs vit b 12 to function well. Make sure that you have enough of this in your diet. If you have any stress in life and don't get good sleep then you will tend to forget. Counselling is an excellent way to work through your stress and learn coping and managing skills, tips and techniques and feel more confident and in control of yourself and your environment.
