I am an asthmatic. I have been taking Seroflo 250 inhaler or rotocaps puff once a day at bedtime for the past 7 years. But, of late I am having congestion in the lungs resulting in frequent cough and spitting. But, no wheezing. Kindly suggest remedies.

This may be exacerbation of asthma secondary to infection. Please take a course of antibiotics like amoxycillin clavulanic acid. Continue seroflo. If breathless despite this then try asthalin as needed. If still breathless then a short course of oral steroid of 7-10 days without tapering is needed. Best wishes
