I am a vegetarian. Do I need to take Vitamin B12 supplement every day? Right now I am taking "Methycobal 500 Mcg by Wockhardt" supplement every day and would like to know if it is safe to do so OR will that cause any side effects. I started taking it after getting my B12 levels checked and found to be deficient and it is normal now after taking the supplements. Can't I get it from food and avoid supplements?
