I am a 22 year old female. I have been diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome due to the presence of cervical ribs on either side. Occasionally I have excruciating pain in my hands that gets worse with usage. Is it because of TOS?

Yes its bcos of TOS. Try physiotherapy/exercises. If not relieved surgery is the option.
