I was suffering from narrowing of anal canal due to my previous piles surgery 2 months back. Was having obstructed bowel movements. So I went to another surgeon he inspect with proctoscopy to tell the exact cause as it was too painful for me. He told you are suffering from tight stricture 3 cm above the anal canal and told that if you are also suffering from pile then we will also do stapler surgery for that. At the time of surgery day before yesterday he told you are suffering from chronic fissure and anal stenosis. He did anal dilatation, performed lateral internal sphincterotomy and removed my half internal sphincter muscle and also performed fissurectomy, to heal my tear due to chronic fissure. And also stricture resection using anoplasty. He also told there are no piles you were suffering from chronic fissure that caused fibrosis. He had removed the damaged tissue and replaced it with healthy tissue. I am 24 years old. The doctor also said he had never done such surgery for boy with such minimum age. He had also given guarantee that you are 100% cured. I have little pain as there are stitches below the anal hole where he had stitched a skin. He had also told you will require 1 month to recover. He had also given me painkillers and cremaffin plus for loose motion. I am also taking sits bath. I want to ask in how many days the 4 stitches will go and that skin will it subside or remain. Will my anus be not become usual as before or not? What is total time required.

The treatment described seems to be fine and you should recover completely . However it may take some time . Stitches may be removed after 10th day from surgery . However you should be ready to wait till 6-8 weeks for complete recovery and follow the discharge advice completely
