I had UTI 2.5 months back and a gynec gave me 2 injections on my buttock. I still have that pain on my bum and little upper body as well. I can not sleep on that side or sit properly or stand for long time. Doctor said it could be a nerve issue. I am worried is that a kidney issue or due to UTI or nerve issue. Please suggest. Doctor gave me medicine named: ST-cort, Acenac and ginkomat (3 months). Can you please suggest me if I need a sonography or a x-ray first or can take these medicines? Thank you.

Hi lybrate-user U can apply ointment Thrombophob on the area where Inj was give If it is still painful avoid sleeping on that side U can apply ice pack on the painful area.
