My friend takes 1 tab of Glucophage 850 mg twice a day, Amaryl 3 mg three times a day and Trajenta 5 mg once after dinner. His PP sugar level is 300 & fasting is 120. Are these medications good for him? He is 65 years old.

No Glimepride (Amaryl) dose is too high and totally unacceptable. Plus the dosing of thrice daily is absurd. Trajenta is a good medicine but then again to be taken after breakfast. Moreover, Sugars are still uncontrolled - Hence the whole treatment is going to waste.
