On 10th of April I have donated blood, after 15 days I feel erectile dysfunction along with strange discomfort (not pain) in my right leg (below knee). I went to a sexologist and advised with L-Arginine, Lycopene, B12 & vit D supplements for one month. During one month there is little improvement. Then I perform my ECG which was normal. I continued L-Arginine for another month, meanwhile I go for lipid profile test, total cholesterol 226, HDL 53, LDL 136 triglycerides 180, VLDL 36. Is it possible that this has blocked my arteries, can it be CAD or PAD (leg). I am only 34, can I get Atherosclerosis? My erection is still weaker. I do not have any problem climbing stairs. I have started taking statin tablets 10 mg/day prescribed for 15 days. Will it help? Is donating blood the cause of all problems becoz I drink less water around 4-5 glass a day. Please help.
