My mother aged 51 years is suffering from ovarian Teratoma as per the mri reports. She was having it for more than 20 years and it has been diagnosed recently. The mri report says" well defined encapsulated heterogeneous altered signal intensity soft tissue mass lesion seen in peritoneal cavity in right paelraumbical region with maintained fat planes? mesenchymal tumor. The ultrasound report says" a large hypoechoic lesion is seen at levels of umbilicus and below the umbilicus on right side .it is causing distal acoustic shadowing. Differentials include? Ovarian teratoma? Neoplastic lesion? Few small nabothian cysts are seen in the cervix.
