I have uric acid at the level of 7.8. Should I start medication now? What are the foods that should be avoided? What should be my ideal diet? I have problems of obesity also.

All body problems are interconnected and the base issue is excessive food and lack of activity. You have a choice whether to fight this naturally or be dependent on medicines for next 50 years. It's best to consult a dietitian but I will post a few tips here. Drastically reduce proteins. No red meat. Reduce all fatty foods, reduce sugars and colas. Eat whole grain foods and do regular exercise. You can check every month for Uri Acid. If it gets controlled fine else you May have to take medicines.
