How to identify vitiligo. I have consulted three doctors and all of them have said that depigmented patches is because of sun allergy. I have been taking multivitamin tablet for a month and have been regularly using sunscreen and scarf still the depigmentation area is continuously increasing. I'm really confused and scared that this might be vitiligo.

The difference between Vitiligo and sun allergy is the sun allergy will mostly occur in area with direct sun exposure whereas vitiligo occurs anywhere on the body. If the hair in the depigmented patches also turns white then vitiligo is your problem. Along with sunscreen and scarf a mild steroid is also required for a short period of time to combat a sun allergy.
