Hi Doctor, Can I have braces on my teeth when I am 36. Isn't that effect my dental health due to age factor. I heard that on putting braces at 36 will have no effect and after some days the original shape will be relapsed. Please suggest. Thanks.

no nothing like this you can go for braces as long as you have good dental health...absence of periodontal bone loss....there is no relapse if you go for retention phase after the active treatment

There might be some form of relapse and as treatment is started late ... bone is hard ..it will take more time to get required results
