On 30th March, 2016, we suddenly observed that our son, Alexis who was three years old could not lift or use his right hand. We took him to the hospital and they examined him, did x-ray, scan and MRI. Finally diagnosed that he had acute flaccid myelitis, said that he has an inflammation at the neck region, below the head, and this possibly must have caused the weakness of the arm. He was placed on steroids and other medications for about two weeks while we were admitted in the hospital. After two weeks, we were discharged, though there was no visible improvement, and we were asked to follow up with the therapists. I an writing to establish communication with your where I will give you all the information and then you will advise if it is something you can treat or not.
