Hi Dr. I am 6 to 7 weeks pregnant. I went for a check up 2 days before. They did external scaling and found no heart beat for baby. They didn't went for a second option or internal scanning. Doctor prescribed mifepristone tablets and I had one at that night. This is my third day and I didn't bleed and no cramps. Now I have a doubt. Which is more accurate, internal or external scanning? And as there is no bleeding still now can I continue my pregnancy. Mifepristone alone can cause any problems?

If by scanning you mean Ultrasound the heart beat can be seen in the scan. As you have taken the tablet you should not think of continuing pregnancy and my have to do D&C . You can approach your doctor for it
