Doctor. this is for my mom april 8th she was bit by our pet the bite is very minute that only the upper part of her skin came off and there was no bleeding it is in the finger tips the dog is not vaccinated. I asked her to take antirabies shot but she neglected saying tat it is very minute there was no bleeding she never listened to me but after 3 days our dog's behaviour changed it barked at us and never let us near. Only after tat I forced my mom and took her to the hospital and took the vaccinations she took the vaccination on the 4th day after bite. Now her 4 doses of anti rabies are over. Will it cause any harm as she did not take the vaccine on the day of bite? Pls help Dr. really worried.

It is very rare for the bite in the finger to affect the person in 4 days gap. No body can assure you that she is 100% safe, but it is very very rare for her to be affected. So relax and complete the course of vaccination.
