I am a 19 year old male from India, I get prickly heat whenever I drink alcohol not every time but I do get it, is it some kind of allergy or due to dehydration or something, but to bring to notice I have visited a couple of site they are talking about rashes which I don't get at all I only get prickly heat on the arms and legs and chest.

Hi lybrate-user! This kind of allergy definitely is not due to alcohol, but may be the snacks you eat that results in prickly heat allergy may be. Neel you need to closely notice if this is occurring to you only during the summer season or during all seasons and then you can exactly find the reason. My suggestion is to keep your dresses and bed clean and wash them often atleast once or twice in 15 days. Try to use mild soap while taking bath. Try to take tender coconut, fruits. And lots of vegetables. Take oil bath once in 15 days. If this still persists consult Skin Specialist for the same. My opinion would be definitely due to heat, but detailed history is not provided to give you the perfect answer for the same. Take care.
