Last week, I got injured in an road accident. My face has got some scratches. I have been Using Mupirocin Ointment I.P. (T-bact) on those scratches that has resulted in development of a firm black layer that is about to get detached .i can feel that wound is almost healed. But Now that particular area of my face is discolored means Red in color. So my question is that, what do we call it, Is it scar. How long will it take there to be normal skin? What shall I use over there? Shall I use Mederma?
