I am 25 and pregnant with my first. I went to have an USG on Feb 18th so we could make sure of the dates. They estimated that I was 7 weeks and 3 days by the size of the sac, but there was no fetus or heartbeat present at that time. I have been diagnosed with PCOS from last 5 years and undergoing treatment for it. I have never been pregnant before, so I am very scared and worried. I have had cramping and no bleeding of any kind. My doctor said this happens sometimes, but I am worried they just don't want to upset me. My doc advised to perform USG again after 7 days. Is this normal, has any else had this happen and how did it turn out? Please let me know.

When in first early sonography foetal heartbeats are not seen it is advisable to repeat same later more so in those who had irregualar cycles like PCOS as delayed pregnancy can be one of the possibilities.
