I am 52 years. I have two children aged 35 and 33. I enjoyed good health. I generally had regular periods. But for the past one year I have started getting early periods with heavy bleeding. I go for regular walks. In the last two periods severe pain preceded the discharge of a clot of the size of about 3 cm. After the discharge there was great relief in pain. Bloating is accompanied. Scan on 29.1.18 revealed endometrial thickness as 20 mm. Ovaries were not imaged. I had last period from 02.2.18. Post period Scan on 10.02.18 revealed endometrial thickness 11 mm. A Fibroid of size 2.6 cm x 2.1 cm in the anterior wall of uterus was seen. Now, again started having period from 15.02.18. Heavy bleeding started from 16.02.18 and continued till 17.02.18. The bleeding slightly reduced on 18th and 19.02.2018. Can you please guide?

Fibroid in ant wall is not significant but at this stage blleding with thick endometrium needs to be investigated. Minimum is curratage and to be sent for histopathology in laboratory, ideally to do hysteroscope also in same sitting.
