Hi doctor. I'm a female, 14 years and only 4" 11 inches. I'm very much depressed with this mentally. I've gone to the endocrinologist and tested my hormones and thyroid. The reports are normal. My weight is 54 kg. Is this excessive weight reason for this height? My parents height is individually 5" 1 inches and 5" 4 inches. I'm currently trying yoga. Will this help? Please suggest something. Can I grow at least 4 inches?

Don't worry you still have 4 years to raise your height. Since the height of years parents is not very much, through hereditary factors years height may also not be 6' or something. However you can raise eye height through swimming, basket ball and skipping ropes. You should not panic at all but eat healthy seasonal fruits and vegetables and avoids junks. Yr weight seems ok dnt panic for that either.
