I am 38 years old house wife. For past 2 months I am suffering from vaginal infection after inter course. I consulted gynecologist two of them. One of them prescribed me to keep tablets I kept and gave vitamin tablets no use. Then consulted another gynaecologist she prescribed me tablets wash lotion and gel but also after having sex itching starting with in a day. Now I am suffering from vaginitis along with this problem. I am able to recover from infection but if had sex before completely cure suffering again. Now I am suffering from vaginitis to. gynecologist suggested me the position and gave gel to apply. But since I am allergic to many medicine I took it and got allergy too. My partner had infection first we found that later ant treatment from dermatologist. That time only issues started to me till before I was with out any issues. Vaginal area is very heat applying coconut oil since ointment also caused irritations, please help me.

Firstly your partner has to be treated with a proper antibiotic .He has to get his blood tests like HbCBC, Urine examinationfasting sugar levels ,vdrl, HbsAg, HCV,HIV done. You also get the same tests done. You will also have to take a proper antifungal and antibiotic course .Avoid intercourse for at least 10 days during the treatment period. Also you like can take probiotic like ecoflora to maintain vaginal health.

Use cotton garments, especially undergarments. Wear clean clothes and change them frequently if you sweat too much. Avoid deodorants and scented soaps and perfumes.
