Hi Lybrate doctors, please help me I am in a big confusion. I am 36 weeks 6 days pregnant, in last week scan it is mentioned as AFI has 7, which my dctr said water level is low so bcz of that she s telling that get admit on coming thursday and deliver the baby, only thing is I have water level low, apart from that everything is fine. So I am telling to doctor that I will try my best and will make water level high by increasing water intake but I need a natural vaginal birth and want after jan 1st to deliver so please push for another 2 weeks I am asking. Whether my decision is wrong or right, kindly please please please please please suggest me doctors please.

Based on what your AFI levels if there is low amniotic fluid and the levels do not show any improvement, ECS is a better choice.
