I have been operated for sub total colectomy with stoma as iliostomy. J pouch has also been made but stoma closure was not suggested by few of GISurgeons as even after stoma closure frequency for bowel clearing will be 8 to 10 times a day, and in later life sphincter may start leaking. I Started feeling worried and ste with stoma care. I am 62yrs male, out of ulcerative colitis operated 6 yrs back. Continuous weakness less energetic unable to speak loud, no dehydration, Taking enough water /fluids. But not electoral. Blood sodium, pottesium, calcium, B12, are WNL. Non diabetic, normotensive. Alert by mind, little weak in memories as was not earlier. Please suggest how to go ahead in life? Any thing new in repair?
