I have few questions about my penis foreskin. 1.Why foreskin of my penis keeps covering penis head in normal position? 2.Should I wash glans also with soap? 3.Why my penis foreskin opens a little when it is erect while on pulling back it goes behind glans? 4.There is a a protruding nerve on my foreskin that is visible when I fold my skin. Why is it so? I have habit of masturbation by lying on stomach. Is it responsible for this and for my foreskin not pulling back? 5.How much glans should be visible normally for normal situation? 1. Foreskin is for protection of glans penis. It normally covers head of penis when penis is in resting state. 2. Yes, you can wash glans with light soap or just with tap water properly. 3. During erection, foreskin should move back fully to facilitate proper sex. If it does not move back then it may be attach to penis head by frenulum. 4. This protruding nerve is normal. It is not due to your habit of masturbation, by lying on stomach. It is not responsible for your foreskin problem. 5. Whole of glans should be visible in normal situation.
