I am thyroid patient since 4 years and its normal. I am 47 years old. I am loosing my weight. In June 2017 my weight was 73 and now it is 70.4. What is the cause I am loosing my weight. Please advice.

You should control thyroid if you will take proper medicine and will follow the dietary pattern and do deep breathing and meditation. Include a variety of foods from carbohydrate, proteins, vegetables and fruits. Take frequent and small meals. At least 8-10 glasses of water a day to overcome water retention which is generally associated with hypothyroidism. Avoid Iodine-suppressing foods like cabbage, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, soybeans, and turnips. If you are loosing your weight after following a proper diet then you should go for liver function test firstly take a action according to your Blood test.
