I was admitted in hospital as I fainted on my way to home from my office. That night I was admitted and my ecg was normal but the pressure was a bit low (106/64). Before that I had fever so in hospital all the necessary tests were done. Firstly they suspected dengue but all the dengue reports were negative. Then my doctor said that sometimes the platelets fall due to viral fever. My platelet count was between 55000 to 86000. After 5 days doctor said that my platelets were in increasing trend so they discharged me. My last platelet count before discharge was 80000. Then recently I again tested CBC. And my CBC report after 18 days of discharge showed that my platelet count is 82000. Why my platelet did not rise in 18 days? I could not understand. Please tell me what is the problem and also tell me the solution. Doctors!
