What is the thickness of front teeth that is what mm is the size of front teeth and what happen if it is drilled to .5 mm does teeth become sensitive what can a person do to avoid that sensitivity without any dental work or filling.
2 to 2.5 mm is the thickness of enamel..no teeth should not become sensitive at that level ...apply sensitivity paste two to three times daily for 15 days on the affected portion ..the symptoms suffering will subside ...
hi Ashish, reducing 0.5 mm on your teeth is not going to harm you in any way. tooth has natural reparative capacity to some extent. so trimming of 0.5mm may give you feel of sensitivity but over the time period it will resolve on its own. for safety propose you can use floride mouthwash for two months. cheers
The teeth become sensitive because of loss of gum covering and loss of cementum in the sockets...
You may try the following...
Take Vitamin C
Use homoeopathic toothpaste Heklalava by Wheezal.
Massage your gums with turmeric and salt twice daily...
