Fluid in POD (pouch of Douglas - between rectum and back part of uterus) in ultrasound can be due to ovulation. dominant follicle is the follicle that ovulates to form ovum (egg) which interacts with sperm to form the zygote (baby) If unprotected sex happened around ovulation there will be some chance of pregnancy.
