Hi there Calcaneal spurs causes heel pain by irritating plantar fascia in many people and further symptoms can includes pain in heel in walking and in morning while landing foot on ground. You can do ice massage several times in a day. Do stretching of plantar fascia, use silicone shoe insoles and visit nearby physiotherapist if symptoms persists.
