My age 25, I got braces on to my teeth 10 months ago recently my doctor noticed a gap between last two upper molar on left side, which I also felt with my tongue. She said it's a rare complication and screws need to be fixed. Is it really rare or it the fault of my dentist? Is there any other way other than the screws? The gap is only on one side as I mentioned. Is it a really big problem? Kindly help waiting for the reply. Thank you in advance doctor.

It may not be the dentist fault since your teeth might have been moved forward making the gap more prominent. Since your doctor has advised for a screw you can take up with the treatment. After going through the investigation you can get a second opinion from another doctor if your doubtful.
