Mam. I'm having a gummy smile also teeth are not aligned. I have to go for a complete smile designing procedure. What would be the estimated cost and duration for the same.

Depends cost should be 35000 to 40000.
Dear Lybrate User, in order to improve your smile, you may have to undergo a teeth aligning procedure and a gummy smile correction procedure (of which the alignment should be performed first and the gum correction only after the conpletion of the braces treatment). Please consult an orthodontist for the alignment of the teeth. The cost will largely depend upon the treatment option you make i.e. Metal braces, ceramic braces or clear aligner therapy. Thereafter, you can visit a Periodontist for the gummy smile correction. The cost may range from 5000 to 10,000 depending on the severity of your condition. Please feel free to ask for further assistance.
You go for fixed ortho treatment .duration is apprx 1 year.
Please consider orthodontic correction over other 'faster methods' because until teeth are correctly aligned, no treatment would make your smile perfect. Orthodontist would suggest if he would be able to improve your soft tissue (lips) profile with treatment and correct your gummy smile line. If he suggests that this cannot be achieves with orthodontic correction, then you should consider other surgery or laser based options. Smile designing is an ongoing process over your life time! It requires you to keep your teeth clean, gums healthy and get frequent dental checkups. Do not lay if all on your dentist! Orthodontic correction: 1-1.5 years Conventional Smile Designing: Veneers and Crowns; three to four sittings Digital Smile Designing: Photographs and software based approach to shouw you what all can be achieved.
