If you have extensive or recalcitrant infection as, systemic administration of antifungal therapy would be required. This requires a Doctor’s prescription, after investigating for the type of the fungal infection, and culture sensitivity patterns. Treat all active areas of tinea cruris infection simultaneously to prevent reinfection of the groin from other body sites.
