Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given, it is difficult to come to any conclusion as to what is the reason for swelling in legs. I need to know following things: Does he have high BP? Is he on treatment or not? If on treatment what are the drugs with dosage. Is he having diabetes or any thyroid problem (Hypothyroidism)? Unless all the details are known, I will not be able to give any opinion. There is normally no major food restriction than salt intake control. Thanks.
