High blood pressure can be due to various reasons like:-

1. If you are not compliant on medications. 
2. Associated kidney disorders. 
3. Heart problems
4. Associated thyroid disorders. 
 I want to know which medicines are you currently taking and do you smoke or drink? 
 I am writing a few test for blood investigations. Please get them done and get back to me.

High blood pressure treatment includes a drastic shift in lifestyle habits and also having medications. In case you your bp is not very high, you can try these-
1. Try and lose weight
2. Exercise 4-5 times a week
3. Eat healthier and avoid junk
4. Have less of salt 
in case you have high blood pressure then it is best to opt for medications along with the above changes to reduce your blood pressure levels.
