My father underwent CABG 3 months back ,but hez continuously experiencing problem in sleeping. Lack of sleep he always feel. N we consult his cardiophysician n surgeon both they asked to take sleeping pill i.e. Etizolam, rivotril etc. But its also nt gud na taking sleeping pills frequently. So please suggest some solution for this problem. I will be highly obliged to all the doctors who respond.

She first of all we should understand why he can not sleep because he underwent cabg so his pumping volume is less which is a cause of cardiac asthma and low concentration of oxygen saturation in blood so I advice you to buy a oxigen concentrator and give him atleast 7 hrs concentrated oxygen and humidified atmospher during summers so that he will feel better and without pills he will sleep well.
