What is an acute pancreatitis acute? what is the reason. How can I find it? how I can correct it?

Sudden onset. Pain in epigastric region radiating to back may mimic acute pancreatitis, to be confirmed with usg or ct. Reason may be alcohol viral infection bacterial infections and lot more to correct cause to be found and treat accordingly.
