Dear Dr's, Last month I contacted doctors found my mother has problem of pshycosis. That time she is very aggressive and she will talk all irrelevant. She asked to take some tablets. After taking although we feel now she is 90 % alright. I have a doubt now Is it curable? Already I googled that pshycosis is not curable, so give me the advice. Thank you.

Psychosis may occur as a result of a psychiatric illness such as schizophrenia. In other instances, it may be caused by a health condition, medication or drug use. Possible symptoms include delusions, hallucinations, talking incoherently and agitation. The person with the condition usually isn't aware of his or her behaviour. Treatment may include medication and talk therapy. It is manageable. Take care.
