3 days back a dog licked my open wound (near my ankle. I went to the hospital today and they prescribed me rabies treatment. Rabipur (on 0-7-14-28-90) days respectively. On searching online I saw that the schedule should have been 0-3-7-14-28. So the schedule given by doctor is good or should I change it to 0-3-7-14-28. And also in the pharmacy when I asked for rabipur vaccine they gave me VACRABIES. Is this vaccine good as I searched online and found the rabipur is made from chick embryo cell and vacrabies from Vero cells. So is this vaccine good for me. Also I wanted to know if the dog does not have rabies who licked my wound and me taking all the five shots of treatment will cause any harm to me. Please help.
