Hi doctor, I would like to ask about my mother she is retired teacher age is 63 years, recently she had pain in her lower back, when we met the doctor he said it is a pain due to she fell down somewhere. Yes she fell down from our steps 20 years back. Now her pain is not bearable she cannot stand easily or walk properly doctor she only take pain killer due to her bone in L4 and L5 have some gap. Doctor tell me is there any treatment for her.

Goodevening mam I gone through your question. What I feel would help your mother is to first of all get treated for the back pain. Please do a session of ift and ultrasound treatment physiotherapy for about 10 days. Then her pain should come down gradually. It will take about 5 to 7 days for the pain to come down. There will be a couple of exercises to follow after that. The exercises may vary beacuse of the gap that you have between your discs. Do not worry her pain will come down gradually and then she should feel better. Her walking pattern will change only if her pain comes down.

If degeneration of bones is a reason then you should start ayurvedic calcium suppliments +daily massage with hot oil twice a day within 15 days you get upto 30-35% relief. Panchakarma advise janu basti snehan swedan +pind swed.

I have been suffered from feet pain. What should I do to get relief from this pain?
The most common foot complaint is plantar fasciitis. At the first sign of soreness, massage (roll a golf ball under your foot) and apply ice (roll a frozen bottle of water under your foot). Give your feet a rest. Cut back on activities that make your foot hurt. Try not to walk or run on hard surfaces. Do toe stretches, calf stretches, and towel stretches several times a day, especially when you first get up in the morning. (For towel stretches, you pull on both ends of a rolled towel that you place under the ball of your foot.) Get a new pair of shoes. Pick shoes with good arch support and a cushioned sole. Or try heel cups or shoe inserts . Use them in both shoes, even if only one foot hurts.
