The information given is too less to suggest any modifications but I beleive that you are suffering from ocd and your repetitive thoughts are because of neurochemical imbalances at brain. It is not voluntarily created. Having guilt that you are the culprit could be part of depressive symptoms which are common with ocd. Kindly consult online for detailed evaluation and better guidance.

I am surprised about the feeling better after stopping the medication. Please meet with your doctor to understand this phenomenon. If you are lucky the medicine has done its job and you may be in a remission. There is no guarantee that the depression will not recur. So if I were you I would take all the necessary precautions to be stress-free, and be fit all the time.

Madam, eventhough you may be better as of now, relapse of depression can occur. The medicines help maintain the neurotransmitter balance in the brain. If your history of depression is long, it is advisable to keep meeting your psychiatrist regularly and continue medicine as per instructions.

You need psychotherapy much more than medication. Also do follow a healthier lifestyle - go outdoors everyday go for a jog, if you can't jog - walk, if you can't walk - sit, if you can't go out at all - sit in an open area at home. But do spend time in natural daylight. Taka a healthy and balanced diet including plenty of water and fruits, do practice a few minutes of deep breathing daily. You deserve to live happily and peacefully. All the best.

Dear lybrate-user,
please discuss with your psychiatrist about your delayed ejaculation problem. She/he may assess you for drug induced delayed ejaculation or other causes for it. Then you will be treated appropriately.

Dear Anand,
When did you last consult your doctor? Please consult her/him to discuss your continuation of these tablets. If you still need them, he can prescribe cheaper and equally effective alternatives to these drugs. They are NOT addictive - addiction means that you go on increasing the dose, your thinking is always about how to get them, you get craving and other physical symptoms on withdrawal nad you don't perform your normal responsibilities.

The most important thing is how are you feeling? no body can be in a better position than you, who can tell, whats good for you.
So if you are feeling better without the medication, then you can continue without it. Do not be preoccupied by the feeling that you will not do good.
More than the condition your thoughts will hurt you.
So live freely, do your work, get active, do any form of exercise, do what makes you happy, drink lots of water.
Try these things and get back to me an...more
