You do not need medication for cholesterol, just start exercising (target 40-45 mins daily of brisk walking), take a diet consultation for a healthy heart diet and repeat cholesterol after 8 weeks of these lifestyle changes and consult. For vitamin D3, kindly ask a local physician to give you a vitamin D3 supplement prescription.

90 percent of vegetarian population suffers from vitamin D and B12 deficiency. So don't consider yourself the only one. The only source for vitamin D is Sunshine. Try exposing your body early mornings to sunlight to get it. You can also start with calcirol sachets once a week to get vitamin D along with calcium. B 12 is not found in vegetarian sources, so again need to stick to capsules.

Consuming tablets is different from applying lemon on the skin. This will not help you with skin lightening. But there are many other benefits.

Good Morning ~
All those vitamins have been tried in psychotic depression, however very few have worked in isolation and none in the kind of depression you describe. It is always good to get opinion that is very impartial and if you believe that you will find help here, you have. I, as a psychiatrist, think that you need to be on medications over and above vitamin supplements to be able to tide over psychotic depression. I hope this helps and you make the effort to pay for an appointment onl...more
